![]() I have temporarily changed the DNS servers on his machine to Google's Public DNS servers but this means he has to enter the admin password every time he wants to access the folders stored on our file share.Īlso I believe he will be logging onto the local account that is stored on his machine as he cannot connect to the DC (when I try and log into the admin account on the domain I got the standard Trust relationship message) For example the director of the company would like to be excluded from this but as its forwarding from our local DNS ip, Overall this is running smoothly and exactly how I wanted it too, apart from a few small issues. I have recently created a free account with OpenDNS and set it up by changing the DNS forwarding in the DC to point to the OpenDNS servers, this is configured to our Public IP which all of our internal IPs are sat behind.
